So my s.o. Is officially ten weeks along and I couldn’t be happier or more excited. We conceived through a known donor at home, and it only took 2 tries! Lots of nausea and exhaustion, but so far so good.
This site follows a couple in LA who bought a crumbling Arts and Crafts bungalow in a shitty neighborhood and have been slowly remodeling, mostly by themselves. It has great before and after photos, inspiration for paint colors and classic designs, and they’ve done a staggering amount of work so it makes me feel like my house isn’t so bad.

Hi I’m Nik and right now my life is in a state of upheaval and change, but all in a good way (I hope). I have spent the last seven months doing a complete remodel of my (1 and only) bathroom. Like no walls, no bathtub kind of remodel, and I am finally beginning to put it all back together, (we have drywall ladies and gentlemen!) but still no bathroom door, which is kind of a drag to say the least. As though this hasn’t created enough chaos, my wife and I have both just begun trying to get pregnant through a known donor. No one’s preggo yet…so I’m mainly focused on getting the bathroom done before things get interesting. I also enjoy clothes and shoes, so I’ll post some stuff on that as well. Hope you like!
